GM - Railways / Metro

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the technical and financial progress of Ballastless/Ballasted track projects.
• Ensure timely project execution in alignment with contractual obligations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Monitor costs, budget utilization, and project cash flow.
• Ensure cost optimization without compromising quality and safety.
• Work closely with planning, procurement, finance, and execution teams.
• Engage with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve project-related issues.
• Review track alignment, structural aspects, and technical specifications of Ballastless/Ballasted track designs.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of drawings with project requirements.
• Coordinate with design consultants and site teams for approvals and modifications.
• Approve drawings and ensure proper documentation and version control.
• Identify potential risks associated with Ballastless track projects.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to Indian Railway Standards, Metro Rail Guidelines, and international best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety and Quality regulations and standards.
• Prepare and present regular reports on project progress, performance, and key metrics.
• Analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for Ballastless track projects.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, improvement, and growth.
• Support the organization's overall business objectives.
