GM Fulfillment | Head of Department - Mahipalpur

We are looking for a Senior logistics leader to build and scale the Fulfilment business from 0 to 1. The individual will be responsible for establishing the function independently, driving business development, acquiring clients, and building operational capabilities.

Key Requirements:

• Designation: GM / Senior GM / AVP or above
• Experience: 10+ years in Logistics / International Logistics / Supply Chain
• Industry: Candidates must have strong experience within the Logistics industry
• Reporting: Directly to the Founder
• Communication: Excellent communication skills (9/10)
• Strong experience in Business Development & Sales is mandatory
• Strong understanding of Fulfilment and Logistics Operations is required
• Proven experience in building/scaling a business or function from 0 to 1
• Should be capable of independently setting up and managing the Fulfilment business
• International logistics/supply chain experience is mandatory
• International market experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Amazon Fulfilment experience/business exposure is highly preferred

Critical Requirement Business Generation

This is not a pure Fulfilment Operations role.

We are not looking for someone who has only managed fulfilment operations and waits for orders/business to come in.

The ideal candidate should have a strong business development orientation and an existing network/access to companies that generate significant order volumes. The candidate should be able to identify, acquire and bring in fulfilment business, while also having the operational capability to execute and scale it.

In simple terms: We need someone who can build the fulfilment operation AND bring the business/orders required to scale it.
