About this role
Role & responsibilities
1. Financial Closing & MIS • Establish and drive a structured monthly financial closing process • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly MIS and business reports • Standardise reporting formats and build consistency in financial data • Enable clear visibility on business performance across revenue, cost, and profitability
2. Costing & Profitability Analysis • Develop and implement SKU-level costing frameworks • Build standard costing models and support variance analysis • Provide insights on product and channel profitability • Support pricing and margin improvement initiatives
3. Inventory & Working Capital Management • Strengthen inventory tracking, reconciliation, and reporting processes • Implement inventory ageing and slow-moving analysis • Improve visibility and control over working capital components
4. Finance Operations & Controls • Oversee day-to-day accounting and finance operations • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records • Build and in stitutionalise processes, controls, and governance mechanisms • Drive adherence to timelines and financial discipline across functions
Preferred candidate profile
814 years of experience in finance, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries • Experience in financial reporting, costing, and operational finance • Exposure to systems and financial modelling •
CA or CMA desired, but not a constraint for the right candidate • Malayalam or Tamil speaking CAPABILITIES • Strong understanding of accounting principles and business finance • Hands-on approach with high attention to detail • Ability to build systems and processes in evolving environments • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and stakeholder management • High ownership and execution focus
