About this role
Location: Hyderabad As a Trade Compliance professional you are responsible for executing GTC processes, including import/export classification under the Harmonized Tariff System. Acts as a key contact for internal stakeholders on customs procedures, duty optimization, origin determination, and regulatory compliance. Manages export controls, licensing, and due diligence for sanctioned or embargoed countries, while supporting audits by authorities.

What you’ll do: Support Global Head of Trade in defining and enhancing Trade Compliance processes and systems
Drive process improvements in SAP (GTS), coordinating with IT on system changes (origin, preference, import/export, trade checks)
Provide guidance on tariff classification in line with Harmonized Tariff System and regulatory requirements
Manage preferential and non-preferential origin, including FTA calculations (SAP GTS & manual)
Monitor trade regulation changes and implement necessary compliance procedures
Handle license application and management; maintain import/export statistics for controlled products
Conduct due diligence for sanctioned/embargoed countries, including denied party screening and risk checks
Oversee customs procedures, identify duty optimization and simplification opportunities
Support on customs valuation, processes, and general Trade Compliance queries
What we’re looking for: 5–8 years of experience in international trade, import/export operations, or trade compliance (preferably within global/regional pharma environment)
Educational background in Customs, Global Trade, or related field.
Strong knowledge of customs procedures and regulations
Proficient in IT systems, including SAP ERP/GTS and MS Office
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
