About this role
Role Purpose: Establish and lead a centralized Global Procurement & SCM function across India, UAE and KSA to deliver competitive global sourcing, cost optimization, optimum inventory, supplier quality and timely material availability. Standardize procurement SOPs, policies and decision-making while developing global suppliers, leveraging economies of scale and JIT principles. Progressively contribute to business and product strategy through global sourcing, supplier innovation and new product-line opportunities.
Experience Required:
- Strong experience in Raw Material Procurement in a manufacturing company.
- Experience in Steel / Metal / Engineering / Aluminium/ industries preferred.
- Strong experience in Strategic Sourcing & Global Procurement.
- Experience in Vendor Development and Negotiation.
- Experience in Cost Reduction / Cost Optimization.
- Experience in Inventory Management / JIT.
- Experience in Make vs Buy / Outsourcing.
- Experience managing a procurement team.
- Exposure to India + international/global suppliers is preferred.
- Good experience in MIS, dashboards and procurement analytics.
