About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Global Perspectives Teacher to join one of our reputed schools in Ballari, Karnataka. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching primary students in a Cambridge school environment and possess a strong understanding of interdisciplinary subjects.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Global Perspectives for primary-grade students.

Integrate concepts from Social Studies, History, Civics, Geography, and English into classroom learning.

Develop students' critical thinking, research, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Design age-appropriate activities, projects, discussions, and inquiry-based learning experiences.

Follow the Cambridge curriculum and teaching methodologies effectively.

Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback for improvement.

Encourage students to explore global issues and develop awareness of different cultures and perspectives.

Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school activities, events, and academic planning.

Maintain appropriate academic records and student progress reports.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education, English, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a relevant discipline.

B.Ed. is preferred/mandatory as per school requirements.

Minimum 23 years of teaching experience in the primary section.

Prior experience in a Cambridge school is mandatory/preferred.

Experience teaching Social Studies, History, Civics, Geography, and English at the primary level.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Ability to use interactive, activity-based, and inquiry-driven teaching methods.
