We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Insurance Operations Director to oversee international insurance operations, optimize business processes, and ensure consistent operational performance across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, insurance industry expertise, and a proven ability to manage complex operations while improving efficiency, regulatory compliance, and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global insurance operations strategies aligned with corporate objectives and long-term business goals.
• Oversee daily operations across regional offices, business units, and international insurance markets.
• Establish standardized operational procedures, performance metrics, and service quality benchmarks across global teams.
• Monitor underwriting support, policy administration, claims processing, and customer service operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop operational plans, budgets, and business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable insurance regulations, internal policies, and industry standards across relevant jurisdictions.
• Identify operational risks, process gaps, and performance challenges, implementing effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, reduce operational costs, and improve productivity across the organization.
• Work closely with underwriting, claims, finance, legal, risk management, and technology teams to strengthen cross-functional coordination.
• Oversee the implementation of insurance management systems, automation solutions, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Analyze operational data, financial indicators, and service performance reports to support strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, third-party administrators, service providers, and other industry partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop regional operations leaders to strengthen management capabilities and organizational performance.
• Support business expansion initiatives by assessing operational readiness, resource requirements, and market-specific needs.
• Present operational results, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to senior executives and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; a master's degree is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in insurance operations, business management, or financial services leadership.
• Proven track record of managing complex operations across multiple regions or international markets.
• Strong understanding of insurance processes, including policy administration, claims management, underwriting support, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience developing operational strategies, managing budgets, and improving business performance.
• Knowledge of operational risk management, internal controls, and insurance industry regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multicultural teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
