Generalist

Role & responsibilities

We're looking for curious, energetic MBA/PGDM students to join Moolya's COO office as a Generalist Intern with a strong tilt towards Talent Acquisition. You'll spend most of your time helping us find and hire great testers and engineers, and the rest supporting strategy, operations and people initiatives.

Recruitment (approx. 70%)

• Source candidates on Naukri, LinkedIn, job boards, college networks and referrals for testing, SDET and business roles
• Screen resumes against job descriptions and shortlist profiles for hiring managers
• Conduct initial phone screens to check fit, availability, notice period and expectations
• Schedule interviews, coordinate with candidates and panels, and send timely follow-ups
• Keep the candidate pipeline and tracker (ATS / Google Sheets) accurate and up to date
• Help draft and refresh job descriptions, job posts and candidate outreach messages
• Support campus hiring drives, assessments and hiring events end to end

Generalist / Operations (approx. 30%)

• Support the COO's office with research, data collection and reports for internal projects
• Help with onboarding coordination, documentation and process improvements
• Build simple trackers, dashboards and presentations for leadership reviews
• Contribute to employer branding and community initiatives like QA on the Rocks and Break the Loop

Preferred candidate profile

• Currently pursuing MBA/PGDM (HR specialisation preferred, others welcome) or a recent graduate
• Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR or business operations
• Clear, confident spoken and written English; comfortable speaking with candidates on the phone
• Organised and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple candidates and deadlines
• Working knowledge of Google Sheets / Excel, Docs and email; familiarity with LinkedIn is a plus
• Curious, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a flat, fast-moving team
• Prior internship, placement-cell or event-coordination experience is a plus, not a must
• Available full time for a minimum of 3 monthsRole & responsibilities
