General Surgery Consultant

• Conduct OPD, IPD and emergency consultations.
• Assess and diagnose surgical conditions.
• Perform general and emergency surgical procedures.
• Perform appendectomy, hernia repair and cholecystectomy.
• Perform laparoscopic and open surgeries as per clinical privileges.
• Manage surgical emergencies and trauma cases.
• Perform wound care, debridement, biopsy and abscess drainage.
• Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients.
• Monitor patients and manage post-operative complications.
• Coordinate with other specialties when required.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and operative notes.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding treatment and follow-up.
• Follow hospital, NABH and patient-safety protocols.
• Participate in clinical audits, meetings and quality improvement activities.
