General Manager

Location: Sector 32, Gurgaon

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented General Manager Logistics to lead and drive end-to-end logistics operations, with strong ownership of First Mile, Last Mile, Reverse Logistics, Fulfilment Centre (FC) and Distribution Centre (DC) operations.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing large-scale logistics networks, 3PL and transportation partners, delivery operations, manpower, cost optimization and service level performance. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable logistics processes, improving operational efficiency and ensuring timely, cost-effective and high-quality deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Logistics Operations: Lead end-to-end logistics operations covering First Mile, Last Mile, Reverse Logistics, FC and DC operations. Drive operational excellence across the logistics

network while ensuring adherence to defined SLAs, TATs and quality standards. Develop & implement scalable logistics processes aligned with business growth. Oversee order fulfilment, dispatch, transportation, delivery and return operations.

2. First Mile & Last Mile Operations: Own and manage First Mile pickup operations and Last Mile delivery operations across multiple locations. Plan and optimize pickup and delivery networks based on order volumes, geography and business requirements. Optimize vehicle deployment, routing, pickup cut-offs and delivery capacity. Monitor key delivery metrics such as delivery TAT, SLA adherence, RTO, productivity and cost per shipment. Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve delivery performance and customer experience.

3. Network & Hub Management: Lead logistics network planning, hub operations and new hub/centre setup. Evaluate capacity requirements based on current and projected business volumes. Ensure effective coordination between ground operations, hubs, FCs/DCs and

corporate teams. Develop local transportation networks to improve delivery efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

4. 3PL & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with 3PL, transportation and manpower partners. Define SLAs, KPIs and performance benchmarks for logistics partners. Conduct regular

performance reviews and audits and drive corrective actions. Negotiate commercial terms and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Build a reliable partner ecosystem to support business scalability.

5. Cost & Productivity Management: Own logistics budgets and drive cost-effective operations. Identify opportunities for CPS (Cost Per Shipment) reduction and manpower optimization. Monitor transportation, manpower and operational expenses. Develop and implement initiatives to improve productivity without compromising service quality. Track operational costs and ensure adherence to financial targets.

6. People Leadership: Lead large, geographically distributed logistics teams comprising on-roll and off-roll employees. Drive manpower planning, recruitment, training, rostering and productivity. Build a strong performance-driven culture across the logistics function.

7. Performance Management & Analytics: Define and monitor logistics KPIs covering:

First Mile performance

Last Mile delivery

RTO / Returns

SLA adherence

Delivery TAT

8. Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps and continuously improve logistics processes. Design and implement SOPs, TATs and operational control mechanisms. Lead process improvement and automation initiatives to improve scalability and efficiency. Drive

standardization across hubs and delivery centres.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience in both First Mile and Last Mile delivery operations.

Experience managing large-scale logistics networks across multiple cities/regions.
