General Manager Warehousing (3PL SALES)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for the 3PL warehousing business.
• Identify, develop and acquire new customers across various industry segments.
• Develop customized 3PL solutions and commercial proposals covering warehousing, storage, handling, distribution and value-added services.
• Lead commercial negotiations, rate finalization and customer contract closures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and manage customer escalations.
• Conduct periodic business reviews with customers and identify opportunities for business growth and service improvement.
• Coordinate with Operations, SCM and other teams for smooth implementation and delivery of 3PL projects.
• Identify opportunities for warehouse network expansion in line with business requirements.
• Ensure optimal warehouse utilization, cost efficiency and project profitability.
• Prepare sales budgets, forecasts and business plans for the warehousing vertical.
• Monitor market trends, identify new business opportunities and drive growth of the 3PL business.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong understanding of warehousing operations, distribution, and value-added services.
• Proven record of achieving sales targets and managing large customer accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
