General Manager - Sales - 3PL/Contract Logistics

About the Role:

A leading Indian logistics and supply chain organisation is looking for a General Manager - Sales to lead its pan-India business development agenda for 3PL, contract logistics, warehousing and distribution.

The role will own revenue growth, new customer acquisition, strategic account expansion and development of new industry segments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive pan-India sales and revenue growth for the 3PL / contract logistics business.

- Acquire new enterprise customers and expand existing accounts.

- Lead large RFQs / RFPs, solutioning, negotiations and deal closure.

- Build relationships with CXO-level Supply Chain, Procurement and Operations stakeholders.

- Develop opportunities across FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals, Retail, E-commerce, Cold Chain and Industrial sectors.

- Drive consultative / solution-led selling across warehousing, distribution and integrated logistics.

- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with clear revenue and margin accountability.

- Develop and lead a high-performing sales team.

- Work closely with Operations and Solution Design teams to ensure commercially viable and executable solutions.

Ideal Candidate:

- 12 - 20 years of experience, with strong exposure to 3PL / contract logistics / warehousing sales.

- Proven track record in enterprise B2B sales and large deal closure.

- Strong CXO-level customer relationships.

- Experience managing complex RFQs / RFPs and consultative sales.

- Strong commercial orientation with ownership of revenue and profitability.

- Experience building and managing sales teams.
