General Manager IT And Digital Transformation - Daman

Role & responsibilities

• Define and execute the IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Lead manufacturing digitisation across plants, covering production, quality, maintenance, inventory, warehouse and supply-chain processes.
• Own the ERP strategy and modernisation roadmap, with strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA / SAP HANA and/or Infor.
• Identify manual, paper and Excel driven processes and drive simplification, standardisation and automation using ERP, workflow, RPA, low-code, integration, analytics or AI where relevant.
• Improve integration between shop-floor systems and enterprise applications, including ERP, MES, IoT and related manufacturing technologies.
• Build stronger data and management visibility across production, quality, inventory, supply chain, cost and business performance.
• Evaluate and select technology vendors, implementation partners and specialist agencies; govern them on architecture, delivery, cost, timelines and business outcomes.
• Ensure reliable and secure IT operations covering infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, applications, business continuity and IT governance.
• Build the right balance of internal IT capability and external specialist partners.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA / M.Tech. / MBA-IT or equivalent

Skills & Competency

• 15+ years of IT experience, preferably with significant exposure to manufacturing organisations.
• Leadership experience in IT, Digital Transformation, Manufacturing IT, with the capability and aspiration to progressively take on broader IT leadership responsibilities.
• Strong experience in ERP transformation, ideally SAP S/4HANA / SAP HANA and/or Infor.
• Demonstrated experience in manufacturing digitisation and business-process automation.
• Good understanding of MES, integration, data & analytics, cloud and cybersecurity.
• Proven ability to manage system integrators, technology vendors and large transformation programmes.
• Able to engage credibly with manufacturing, supply chain, finance and senior leadership.
• Proficient or at least good knowledge in applying AI

Experience:

• Minimum 15 years in IT field.
• Manufacturing sector experience preferred.
