General Manager Indirect Taxation

We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented professional for the position of General Manager – Indirect Tax (GST). The role requires extensive experience in GST compliance, litigation management, tax assessment, and representation before various tax authorities.

• Handle all GST-related litigation matters across the organization.
• Represent the company before GST authorities, appellate authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Manage GST assessments, audits, investigations, notices, and departmental inquiries.
• Prepare and review replies to show-cause notices and appeals.
• Provide strategic guidance on GST laws, regulations, and amendments.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable indirect tax regulations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, consultants, and legal teams on taxation matters.
• Identify potential tax risks and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor changes in indirect tax laws and evaluate their impact on business operations.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient processes and internal controls.
• Support business units by providing guidance on GST-related transactions and compliance requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and records related to taxation matters.
