General Manager Human Resource

Role & responsibilities

• Strong experience in hiring manpower for:Die Casting, Injection Moulding, Tool & Die / Tool Room, CNC / VMC / EDM / Wire-cut, Production & Maintenance & Quality and Engineering
• Drive hiring of operators, technicians, ITI/Diploma candidates, supervisors, engineers, and managerial positions.
• Develop manpower plans based on production requirements and capacity expansion.
• Manage blue-collar, skilled, semi-skilled, and contract manpower.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance applicable to manufacturing establishments.
• Ensure timely and accurate compliance related to PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Factory Act, Contract Labour, Minimum Wages, and other applicable statutory requirements.
• Manage labour department inspections, statutory registers, notices, audits, and documentation.
• Handle contract labour compliance and contractor management.
• Maintain a healthy and productive relationship between management and employees.
• Strong experience in end-to-end payroll management for both permanent and contract employees.
• Manage HRMS / payroll systems and maintain accurate employee records

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in HR / Business Administration / Industrial Relations.
• MBA / PGDM in HR preferred.
• 1520+ years of relevant HR experience, preferably in manufacturing / automotive / auto components / engineering industries.
• Mandatory or strongly preferred experience in die casting, injection moulding, and tool room / tool & die manufacturing.
• Proven experience in manufacturing recruitment and shop-floor manpower hiring.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and labour laws.
• Strong payroll and wage administration experience.
• Good exposure to industrial relations and contract labour management.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced plant/manufacturing environment and managing a large workforce.
