General Manager- F&A

Role & responsibilities

• Manage overall Finance & Accounts functions and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Handle and monitor book keeping, accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and book closures.
• Manage invoicing, billing, revenue recognition, receivables, and payables.
• Prepare and review MIS reports, management dashboards, financial statements, and variance analysis.
• Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
• Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors, Tax Consultants, Banks, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project-wise financial performance, cash flow, working capital, and profitability.
• Provide financial inputs and analysis to senior management for business and project decisions.
• Monitor budgets, actual expenditure, cost controls, and financial forecasts.
• Handle project/SPV accounting and financial reporting, particularly for HAM projects.
• Coordinate with project, commercial, procurement, and operations teams for financial and billing-related matters.
• Establish strong internal controls and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Qualified CA with 18+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of Book Keeping, Invoicing, MIS, Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
• Good understanding of SPV structures and HAM projects.
• Experience in project accounting, billing, receivables, and cash-flow management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team-management capabilities.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
