Job Summary


Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and lead VISL's legal strategy to protect business interests and unlock long-term business value.
• Leverage deep expertise in the Indian legal system and litigation management to safeguard the organization's interests.
• Provide strategic leadership on legal matters, including the development and implementation of legal risk management and compliance frameworks.
• Proactively identify and mitigate legal risks arising from customers, contractors, subcontractors, employees, and other business partners.
• Monitor, manage, and report regulatory compliance status to the management and Board on a regular basis.

Candidate Profile

• 15-18 years of experience in legal functions, with strong exposure to litigation and contract management
• LLB degree from a reputed law school with a strong academic pedigree
• Extensive knowledge of the Indian Iron and Steel Sector, related regulations, and the Mining Mineral sector
• Proficiency in the local language will be an added advantage
