About The Role Luxoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineer with a specialized focus on Generative AI (GenAI) to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and deploying advanced AI solutions leveraging large language models and cutting-edge generative technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of over 7 years in software development, with a minimum of 4 years dedicated to GenAI projects. This hybrid position offers the flexibility of working from our offices in Bangalore, Chennai, or Gurgaon, with a focus on delivering innovative AI solutions that meet our clients' complex needs. The role requires a proactive individual capable of engaging with cross-functional teams, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Qualifications

• Overall professional experience of 7+ years in software development and AI/ML projects.
• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience specifically in Generative AI and large language models.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience in Java or Node.js is a plus.
• Deep understanding of LLMs such as GPT, LLaMA, Claude, and Mistral, along with Transformers and Diffusion models.
• Experience working with frameworks like Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and other LLM orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of prompt tuning, RAG pipelines, embedding models, and vector databases.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, utilizing AI/ML services.
• Familiarity with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, and Azure ML for model deployment and management.
• Strong understanding of data engineering, data pipelines, and ETL workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Implement prompt engineering and tuning strategies to enhance model performance and relevance.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, ensuring efficient data flow for AI applications.
• Integrate LLMs with existing systems using frameworks like Hugging Face and LangChain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Deploy and monitor AI models in cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Implement best practices in MLOps for continuous integration, deployment, and model lifecycle management.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI and incorporate innovative techniques into projects.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
