GeM & Tender Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced GeM & Tender Specialist to independently manage GeM and other government e-tender activities for a medical devices company, from bid identification through submission and follow-up.

Role & responsibilities

• Search, track and follow up on upcoming GeM and other government tenders
• Handle GeM Bids, BOQ/Custom Bids, L1 purchases, Direct Purchase and Reverse Auctions
• Create/manage catalogues, OEM/reseller authorisations and GeM links
• Handle Vendor Authorisation (VA) creation and related GeM requirements
• Prepare and submit technical, commercial and eligibility documents
• Handle tender requirements including EMD and Bank Guarantees
• Prepare tender documents, quotations, letters, declarations, undertakings and correspondence
• Maintain Excel trackers for bids, deadlines, orders and pending follow-ups
• Coordinate internally for pricing, documents, dispatch and order requirements

Preferred candidate profile

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on GeM/government tender experience
• Experience working on GeM and other government e-procurement/tender portals
• Experience in medical devices/healthcare equipment and GeM Q2 categories preferred.
• Good command of English, including email and business correspondence
• Comfortable with MS Word and Excel for documentation, quotations and tracking
• Organized, accurate and deadline-focused
• Able to independently manage multiple bids and pending tasks
• Graduate preferred
