Role & responsibilities

Understand the necessary production plan received from PPC and translate the same to Casting Plan for GDC.

Should have Hard core Knowledge in MELTING, Casting, Gate cut m/c, X-ray, Heat treatment (T6), shot blasting, Rework Operation.

¢ Ensure, in coordination with Quality Control and Quality Systems function, that the quality of the products meet the customer demands

¢ Identify & implement initiatives/action steps to enhance the die casting function – die loading, die life monitoring, rejection rate etc.

¢ Implement efficient and effective internal control systems, to keep track of the performance of equipment’s and take necessary actions to improve efficiency of die-casting in coordination with Maintenance Head.

¢ Prepare daily and monthly MIS reports to match actual performance vis--vis the targets and provide action steps to minimize variance
