GDC/LPDC Core Box Designer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design core boxes for GDC/LPDC aluminium casting applications.
• Develop core box concepts based on component and casting requirements.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, parting, venting and core removal feasibility.
• Prepare 2D/3D models and detailed manufacturing drawings.
• Coordinate with Tool Room and Foundry/Production teams for development and trials.
• Improve core box designs based on trial results and quality feedback.

Key Skills

• Hand on experience in Die Core Box Design of GDC/LPDC, Simulation, Tool Design.
• Knowledge of IATF ISO Audits, DFM, GD&T.
• Good problem-solving, communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-8 years of experience.
• Diploma /B.Tech. / B.E. degree
• Proficiency in UG NX (preferred) CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD
