GCP solution Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Work with services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, Cloud Functions, GKE, etc.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting using Stackdriver / Cloud Operations Suite.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure and application deployment issues.
• Ensure cloud security best practices including IAM Policies, VPC design, firewall rules, and network segmentation.
• Collaborate with application, operations, and security teams to deliver cloud solutions.
• Optimize performance, cost, and reliability of cloud workloads.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Expertise in Terraform / IaC, automation, and scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes / GKE).
• Knowledge of networking concepts: VPC, Subnets, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Peering.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and Git-based workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices and compliance standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
