GCP Migration Architect

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for clients.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify migration opportunities and implement solutions using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Storage buckets, etc.
  
• Develop Landing zones for new migrations to ensure smooth transition of applications from on-premise environments to cloud-based platforms.
  
• Implement automation scripts using Terraform to manage infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 10-18 years of experience in designing and implementing large-scale IT systems with expertise in GCP Migration Architecture.
  
• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platforms including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Storage buckets, etc.
  
• Experience with Landing zone architecture design principles and implementation best practices.
  
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or GoLang for automating tasks through Ansible playbooks or similar tools.
