- GCP Core Expertise (Must-Have):
- GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine): Deep hands-on experience deploying, managing, and scaling containerized workloads.
- Networking: VPCs, subnets, firewall rules, load balancing, and hybrid connectivity.
- Logging & Monitoring: Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, alerting, and observability best practices.
- Cloud SQL & Databases: Management, performance tuning, and robust backup/restore policies.
- Security & IAM: Identity and Access Management, service accounts, and Workload Identity Federation.
- Experience with deploying the Java application to GKE using Gitlab CI/CD
- Infrastructure as Code: Expert-level proficiency in writing and maintaining Terraform code for production environments.
- CI/CD Tooling: Proven experience designing and writing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI for both infrastructure and application workloads.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of effective cross-team collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Hands-on experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
