Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Data Migration Engineer to lead the modernization of our data analytics stack, transitioning legacy data sources and visualization platforms to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The core focus is migrating data warehouses to BigQuery and transitioning reporting from Tableau to Looker/Looker Studio.

Key Responsibilities

Migration Execution: Lead end-to-end migration of Tableau dashboards and data sources to BigQuery/Looker, ensuring data integrity.GCP Development: Design, build, and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Dataflow, Cloud Composer (Airflow), and BigQuery.

BI Modernization: Map legacy Tableau calculations and LOD expressions to LookML models, explores, and dashboards.Data Transformation: Utilize SQL and data modeling tools to rebuild data architectures for cloud scalability.

Validation: Perform rigorous validation to ensure accuracy, performance, and security of migrated data and reports.

Skill Requirements

GCP Tech Stack: Strong experience with Google BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, and Dataflow.BI Migration:
