About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale data pipelines using GCP tools such as BigQuery, Data Flow, Pub/Sub etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design ETL processes for complex datasets.
- Develop scalable and efficient SQL queries to extract insights from massive datasets stored in BigQuery.
- Troubleshoot issues related to data processing pipeline failures and optimize performance.
Job Requirements :
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role as a Data Engineer on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong expertise in working with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka etc.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries using PySpark or other programming languages like Python.
