About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Developer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineering, containerization technologies, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-based data engineering solutions, along with a solid foundation in Java/J2EE development.
Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable applications and data engineering solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them using Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Develop and manage Kubernetes configurations for Pods, Controllers, Services, Networking, Storage, Security, and Load Balancing.
• Work extensively with Kubernetes APIs and container lifecycle management.
• Implement cloud-native architectures and CI/CD deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure, scalable, and highly available solutions.
• Troubleshoot and optimize containerized workloads in cloud environments.
• Develop and support enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Data Engineering.
• Hands-on expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and OpenShift.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
• Extensive understanding of:
• Kubernetes API
• Container Lifecycle Management
• Storage & Security
• Pods, Controllers & Services
• Load Balancing
• Networking & Cluster Management
• Experience in cloud-native application development and deployment.
• Good working knowledge of Java/J2EE.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-scale cloud modernization initiatives.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Relevant GCP and Kubernetes certifications will be an added advantage.
