Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated GCP Data Engineer to join our data engineering team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 9 years of experience working with GCP services and modern data platforms. This role involves building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, working with tools like Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Composer, and transforming data to support advanced analytics and reporting needs.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and manage scalable and reliable data pipelines using GCP Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer
• Optimize and manage BigQuery datasets and performance for analytics workloads
• Orchestrate workflows and ETL processes using Cloud Composer (Apache Airflow)
• Develop data models and transformations using DBT
• Implement data warehousing concepts in line with industry best practices
• Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements.
• Perform data ingestion and processing from various sources using Cloud Storage, SQL, and Python
• Collaborate using version control systems such as Git
  

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and services like Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Storage
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL
• Experience with DBT for data transformation
• Familiarity with Python for scripting and data processing
• Experience with Pub/Sub for event-driven architectures
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
