Gate Operations - Executive - PSA Ameya

Role & responsibilities: To ensure the safe, accurate, and timely movement of containers, cargo, trailers, and vehicles through the CFS gate by verifying documents, updating/ verifying systems, complying with Customs and security regulations, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve efficient gate operations.

Key Accountability

• Gate documentation verification.
• Entry and exit management of containers and vehicles.
• Gate system transactions and data accuracy.
• Compliance with Customs, security, and statutory requirements.
• Coordination with Yard, Warehouse, Security, Transporters, CHAs, and Customs.
• Gate turnaround time (TAT) monitoring.
• Exception handling and issue escalation.
• Maintenance of gate records and MIS.
• Compliance with HSE and traffic management procedures.
• Implementation of Smart Gate and Parking software.
• Work on the operation cost / man power reduction and improved TAT.
