Gameplay Engineer

We are looking for experienced Game Developers with a strong background in AAA game development to join our team and work on high-quality PC and Console titles. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in C++ and Unreal Engine and a proven track record of contributing to AAA gaming projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement high-quality game features and systems using C++ and Unreal Engine.
• Work on PC and Console game development across different areas, including gameplay and general game systems.
• Collaborate closely with Game Designers, Artists, Technical Artists, and other engineering teams to bring features from concept to implementation.
• Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and performance-oriented code.
• Debug, profile, optimize, and resolve complex technical issues across game systems.
• Work with existing codebases and contribute to technical architecture and system design.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Ensure features meet quality, performance, and stability standards required for AAA game development.

Requirements:

• 5-9 years of professional game development experience.
• Mandatory experience working on AAA games.
• Strong hands-on experience with C++.
• Strong professional experience with Unreal Engine.
• Experience developing games for PC and/or Console platforms.
• Strong understanding of game programming fundamentals, performance optimization, debugging, and memory management.
• Experience working with large and complex game codebases.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Gameplay Development Experience
• Candidates with experience in areas such as the following are welcome: Gameplay systems and mechanics, Player systems, Combat systems, AI, Animation systems, UI systems, Character systems, Game physics, Tools and core game systems.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 5.
• Experience shipping a AAA title.
• Console development experience.
• Multiplayer/networking experience.
• Experience with profiling and optimization tools.
• Familiarity with Perforce/Git or other version-control systems.
• Experience working in large, cross-functional game development teams.
