Game Developer (Pixi.js)

About the Role: We are looking for a talented and passionate Sr. Game Developer with hands-on experience in PixiJS to join our game development team. You will be responsible for developing engaging and visually stunning games, collaborating closely with game designers, artists, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop slot games using PixiJS and JavaScript
• Translate game concepts, art, and animations into performant, interactive games.
• Work with designers and artists to implement animations, transitions, and UI/UX features.
• Optimize game performance across multiple browsers and platforms (desktop, mobile).
• Maintain high code quality, documentation, and reusable modules.
• Debug and fix issues to ensure smooth gameplay and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile workflows.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in game development.
• Strong proficiency in PixiJS and JavaScript
• Proven experience building and shipping slot or casino-style games.
• Solid understanding of game development patterns and rendering performance.
• Familiarity with animation tools (Spine or similar) is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Knowledge of asset optimization, memory management, and debugging tools.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Good to Have:

• Experience with TypeScript.
• Knowledge of WebGL or other 2D/3D rendering libraries.
• Exposure to mobile-first design and responsive gameplay.
• Familiarity with Stake Engine
