Gallagher & Mohan - Senior Financial Analyst

Role Overview:

Gallagher & Mohan is seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to support financial modelling, commercial real estate analysis, investment evaluation, and market research.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and experience working with Argus Enterprise and Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models.

The candidate will analyse real estate assets, evaluate investment performance, and prepare detailed financial reports to support business and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models using Argus Enterprise.

- Build and refine Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) models to evaluate investment opportunities and asset valuations.

- Conduct financial analysis of multifamily and other commercial real estate assets.

- Research real estate markets, including property comparables, rental trends, occupancy rates, capitalisation rates, and market developments.

- Analyse investment performance using key financial metrics, including Internal Rate of Return (IRR) and Cash-on-Cash Return.

- Prepare financial reports, market research summaries, and investment analysis for clients and senior management.

- Update financial models to reflect changing market conditions, investment strategies, and financing structures.

- Collaborate with internal teams on acquisitions, dispositions, and real estate development projects.

- Interpret financial data and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders.

- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial models, assumptions, and analytical reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate, or a related field.

- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and modelling.

- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.

- Hands-on experience with Argus Enterprise and DCF modelling.

- Understanding of commercial real estate valuation and investment analysis.

- Knowledge of multifamily real estate assets and market research.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines while working remotely.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in real estate finance, equity research, investment banking, or investment analysis.

- Familiarity with Yardi Voyager, Google Earth, or similar real estate analysis tools.

- CFA, CA, FRM, or a relevant postgraduate qualification.
