Furniture Dispatch & Quality Control (QC) Manager

1. Quality Control & Inspection

• Inspect finished furniture, retail fixtures, display units, cash counters, wall panels, shelving, cabinets, and other fabricated interior elements.
• Verify dimensions, materials, laminate, paint, polish, hardware, fittings, edge banding, and overall finishing against approved drawings and specifications.
• Check fabrication quality, alignment, joints, installation readiness, and visual appearance.
• Identify defects, prepare snag lists, and coordinate with production and fabrication teams for timely rectification.

2. Drawing & BOQ Verification

• Read and interpret furniture drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, and material specifications.
• Verify dimensions, quantities, finishes, hardware, and material specifications against approved documents.
• Highlight discrepancies and coordinate with design, production, and project teams for clarification.

3. Dispatch & Material Management

• Verify finished goods and material quantities against BOQs, dispatch plans, and project requirements.
• Ensure proper packing, labelling, identification, and protection of finished furniture and fixtures to prevent transit damage.
• Supervise loading and ensure correct segregation of materials project-wise or store-wise.
• Ensure all materials are ready for dispatch according to the project schedule.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and maintain dispatch challans, material checklists, QC inspection reports, snag lists, and daily dispatch status reports.
• Maintain accurate records of inspected, approved, rejected, rectified, and dispatched materials.
• Track pending rectifications and coordinate for closure before dispatch.
• Maintain all QC and dispatch records using MS Excel and other computer applications.
