Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Analyst Equity Research at GEPL Capital in Mumbai. We are specifically seeking candidates with extensive experience in the complete process of fundamental research. This includes:

• Identifying and initiating ideas for sector research.
• Gathering data through tools like Bloomberg and Ace Equity.
• Developing models from scratch.
• Conducting valuation, ratio analysis, and other financial analyses.
• Compiling and preparing summary reports.
• Experience is portfolio review preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quarterly and annual evaluations of the company's performance through Financial Statement Analysis and review of investor presentations, as well as MDA, to understand management's industry outlook.
• Develop and maintain financial models and perform evaluations based on historical return analyses.
• Monitor daily news and corporate actions to provide timely insights and advisories to the team.
• Analyse and provide detailed reports on upcoming IPOs and assess the company's future growth prospects.
• Maintain a monthly sales sheet to track sector trends and prevailing market conditions.
• Manage wealth portfolios, tracking returns and performing fundamental analysis based on quarterly results; adjust portfolios as necessary in response to changes in company dynamics.
• Attend meetings with fund managers to present comprehensive fundamental reports.
• Utilize Bloomberg and Ace Equity platforms proficiently for conducting in-depth fundamental analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
• NISM Certification Series 15
• Experience in portfolio review would be beneficial
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
