Fund accounting- Senior Consultant- Mumbai (Lower parel)

Hiring for fund accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting activities with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.
• Process and review accounting entries.
• Prepare supporting workings for accounting entries. Manage, review, and reconcile accounting entries. Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare, review and reconcile various tax compliances (TDS, GST, advance tax etc.)
• Ownership of vendor onboarding and control over vendor payment cycles.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes (like MIS and cashflow statement etc.)
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and investor reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with auditors, custodians, fund administrators, and internal stakeholders as required.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of accounting concepts.
• Basic understanding of Fund Accounting and Investment Accounting principles.
• Experience in journal entries, reconciliations, financial reporting, and fund operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to Private Equity Funds, Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs).
• Experience in audit coordination and regulatory reporting.
