Functional Tester with strong expertise in the

Banking domain , particularly across

Loans, Lending, Payments, and Digital Banking applications. The ideal candidate should possess excellent functional testing skills, a deep understanding of banking business processes, and experience validating end-to-end banking applications. The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery through comprehensive testing and defect management. Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support for banking applications.
• Analyze Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and user stories.
• Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on business requirements.
• Execute manual test cases and validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams to resolve functional issues.
• Validate end-to-end banking workflows across multiple applications and interfaces.
• Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and daily Agile ceremonies.
• Perform impact analysis for new enhancements and production fixes.
• Support production validation and post-deployment verification activities. Required Banking Domain Experience Candidates must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following banking areas:

• Banking Channels Required Technical & Functional Skills
• Strong experience in Functional Testing.
• Expertise in System Testing and Integration Testing.
• Experience in Regression Testing.
• Exposure to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ability to design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
• Strong defect lifecycle management experience.
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to analyze functional specifications and identify business risks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Qualification
