Job Description:We are looking for an experienced Functional Lead with 9+ years of overall experience with Banking domain expertise to lead test initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with client, product, and onshore/offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end testing activities across banking applications, ensuring quality, coverage, and timely delivery.
• Define test strategies, test plans, test estimates, resource plans, and overall testing approach.
• Manage functional testing, integration testing, system testing, regression testing, UAT, and production validation.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, business analysts, and project managers.
• Ensure strong understanding of banking processes such as retail banking, corporate banking, payments, loans, deposits, cards, and digital banking.
• Manage testing teams, allocate resources, track progress, and monitor key metrics such as test coverage, defect leakage, and defect closure.
• Oversee defect management, root cause analysis, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to resolve dependencies, manage escalations, and ensure release readiness.
• Drive test automation initiatives and continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Prepare and present test status reports, dashboards, risks, and quality metrics to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with banking security, audit, regulatory, and data privacy requirements.

Mandatory Skills

• 12+ years of experience in software testing, including significant experience in test management or test leadership.
• Strong hands-on experience in the banking domain.
• Proven experience managing large-scale testing projects and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum, and defect management processes.
• Experience in test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr, HP ALM, or equivalent.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning, and leadership skills.
• Experience in test estimation, test metrics, risk management, and release management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver testing milestones within agreed timelines.
