Functional Safety Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Functional Safety Engineer to join our team at BMW Techworks India Private Limited. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional safety and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibility

• Develop and implement functional safety concepts, architectures, and designs for automotive systems.


• Conduct risk assessments and analyze system failures to identify potential hazards.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.


• Design and develop test cases for functional safety testing.


• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers on functional safety matters.


• Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably).


• Strong knowledge of functional safety principles, methods, and tools.


• Experience with automotive industry standards and regulations such as ISO26262.


• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
