Functional Lead / Sr. Consultant

Job Overview:

At Avaali Solutions, we are transforming the Source-to-Pay (S2P) landscape through our flagship product, Velocious. Velocious helps organizations streamline and standardize procurement and supplier engagement through capabilities such as RFQ, Reverse Auctions, PO Visibility, Spend Analysis, AP Automation, Supplier Onboarding etc. with deep integration with SAP, Oracle and other leading ERPs.

As a Functional SME, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of Velocious implementations for our customers. You will be responsible for end-to-end functional executionacross projects, including requirement gathering, business process analysis, functional solution design, configuration guidance, and functional blueprint preparation and sign-off. Your primary focus will be to map customer requirements to standard product capabilities, ensuring scalable, best-practice solutions while limiting unnecessary customizations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end-to-end requirement gathering workshops for P2P automation initiatives

- Understand current-state (AS-IS) P2P processes and define optimized TO-BE workflows

- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, BRDs, FRDs, and process flows

- Act as the single functional point of contact for P2P scope across stakeholders

- Own functional design and validation for the following P2P processes like Vendor Onboarding & Registration, Purchase Order Management, GRN/ SRN Processing, Invoice Management with OCR etc.

- Work closely with technical and automation teams to design solutions

- Ensure seamless integration between ERP, Vendor Portal, OCR, and Workflow tools

- Engage with Finance, Procurement, AP, IT, and external vendors

- Coordinate with system integrators and product vendors

- Ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered functionality

- Lead UAT planning, execution, and sign-off

- Validate business scenarios and exception cases

- Support data migration and cutover activities

- Assist in training and change management

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Strong hands-on knowledge of P2P and Accounts Payable lifecycle.

2. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). SAP is preferred.

3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

4. Proven experience working in onsite/offshore delivery models.

5. Ability to independently lead workshops and client discussions.

6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Travel: Willingness to travel onsite as per project needs (domestic/international).
