Fullstack Python Developer

Job Description: Senior Full Stack Developer (Python + React JS)

Experience: 6 to 10 years
Location: Pan India(Hybrid)
Tech Stack: Python, React JS, PostgreSQL

About the Role

We are building a custom application and are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and ship features end to end. You will work across a Python backend, a React JS frontend, and a PostgreSQL database, and you will be expected to own technical decisions, write clean and testable code, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python (FastAPI / Django / Flask).
• Build responsive, reusable UI components and complete user flows in React JS.
• Design PostgreSQL schemas and write optimized queries, indexes, and migrations.
• Integrate frontend and backend, including authentication, authorization, and third-party services.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions and contribute to technical documentation.
• Write unit and integration tests and perform code reviews to maintain quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve application performance and reliability.
• Work with product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment.
• Mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills

Backend (Python)

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Strong experience with at least one framework: FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, OOP, async programming, and design patterns.
• Experience with ORMs (SQLAlchemy / Django ORM) and background task processing (Celery, etc.).

Frontend (React JS)

• 3+ years of strong React JS experience (Hooks, Context API, functional components).
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• State management (Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar) and API integration (Axios / Fetch).
• Experience with component libraries (Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind) and responsive design.

Database (PostgreSQL)

• Strong SQL skills: joins, CTEs, window functions, stored procedures, and transactions.
• Experience with schema design, normalization, indexing, and query performance tuning.
• Familiarity with migrations (Alembic / Django migrations).

General

• Git and branching workflows; CI/CD pipelines.
• Testing: PyTest, Jest, React Testing Library.
• Authentication and security basics (JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, OWASP, SSO).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Docker and Kubernetes; cloud experience (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• TypeScript, Next.js.
• Exposure to AI/LLM integrations or data engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 6 to 8 years of total software development experience, with proven delivery of production-grade full stack applications.
