Fullstack Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js, FastAPI (Python), and PHP
• Collaborate on microservice architecture, ensuring clean boundaries and maintainability
• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases, focusing on schema design, query optimization, and indexing
• Support real-time communication and data ingestion pipelines
• Contribute to event-driven systems and messaging workflows
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in production environments with guidance from senior engineers
• Participate in code reviews, learn best practices, and continuously improve coding standards
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, and data teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Preferred candidate profile

• 13 years of backend software engineering experience
• Comfortable with Node.js, Python (FastAPI), and PHP
• Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• MongoDB document modeling for semi-structured/telemetry data
• MQTT lightweight pub/sub messaging for device/IoT telemetry
• RabbitMQ reliable async messaging and task/event queuing between services
• Basic understanding of distributed systems concepts (caching, queues, consistency)
• Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies

Good to Have

• • Exposure to transportation, IoT, or fleet management systems
• • Familiarity with GPS data processing or real-time data pipelines
• • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization (Docker)
• Interest in event-driven architecture and scalable system design
