About this role
Full-stack developer: 5+ years of Experience
We have custom platform built on top of Python, JavaScript and PostgreSQL. We need someone who can quickly understand and contribute to the current platform. Also, the candidate should be able to guide team and help resolve and debug issues along with designing backend + frontend system.
Skills required:
1. Proficiency in JavaScript: Understanding of concepts like asynchronous programming and ES6. Ability to build UI using vanilla JS. Knowledge of JS web-components and other frameworks like Angular, React and Vue is beneficial.
2. Proficiency in Python programming language: Writing performant Python code with necessary unit tests is a must. Experience with frameworks like Django, FastAPI or Flask is beneficial.
3. Proficient in relational databases: Creating performant schemas in SQL databases like PostgreSQL or MySql is a must.
4. Proficient in debugging tools for both JavaScript and Python code
5. Proficient and experience in integrating third-party systems
6. Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3: Ability to create responsive designs, and familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
7. Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations, including SSO integrations using OAuth/OpenID.
8. Version Control/Git: Familiarity with version control systems like Git for tracking changes in source code during software development.
9. Understanding of CI/CD techniques and build deployment pipelines.
10. Understanding of secure coding practices.
