You may be a fit for hotglue if: You like solving hard networking and distributed system challenges You are excited about developer tooling You enjoy creating and maintaining great abstractions About the role We’re looking for a Full-Stack Engineer to: Build and own customer-facing features across our stack Help maintain and scale the distributed mechanisms of our ETL orchestration Improve our DevOps tooling Our Engineering Culture We believe AI is a transformational tool for software engineers; we do not believe AI will replace software engineers. Collaboration is the norm, not a sign of weakness. Engineers at hotglue do not work uninterrupted for days at a time; They are constantly pairing and helping one another. Code that is not understood is worthless. The job of a software engineer is not to build software that seems to work; the job of a software engineer is to build understanding so that we can make software work. Our Tech Stack Front End : Node.js, React+Typescript Backend : Python, Postgres, Redis Infra : AWS The Ideal Candidate 3+ years of experience working with modern programming languages like JavaScript/Node.js , Python , etc. Passion and ability to work well in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment. This is a startup; you’ll be in the deep end from day one. Strong written communication skills and can explain complex technical concepts to non-engineers. Proven production experience with a major cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
