We are looking for a Full-Stack Platform Engineer to work across our in-house ecommerce and business operations platform. This is a

broad ownership role , not a single-module development position. The engineer will work on whatever technical issue, improvement, integration, or business-critical system needs attention — across backend, frontend, automation, integrations, and infrastructure. The role is highly

AI-assisted . We use tools such as Claude Code and Cursor to accelerate development. The engineer should be comfortable directing AI coding agents, reviewing their output, debugging, testing, and validating changes before production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot our full-stack business platform.
• Debug issues across

React → Node/Express → PostgreSQL/Supabase and identify root causes.

• Work across ecommerce, inventory, orders, shipping, CRM, payments, payroll, dashboards and internal tools.
• Maintain and improve

100+ scheduled/cron jobs , background processes and automation workflows.

• Build and maintain third-party integrations such as

Shopify, Amazon, payment platforms, banking and warehouse/carrier systems .

• Handle database migrations, data backfills, performance improvements and production fixes.
• Work with APIs, webhooks, OAuth, rate limits and failure/retry scenarios.
• Ensure changes are properly tested and verified using real data before being considered complete.
• Document root causes, fixes, operational procedures and important technical decisions.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned problems and drive them to completion.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong

full-stack development experience.

• Production experience with

TypeScript, Node.js/Express, React and PostgreSQL/Supabase .

• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience working with large/unfamiliar codebases.
• Experience with

AI coding/agentic development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar.

• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations and asynchronous/background processes.
• Ability to assess the potential

business and technical impact (blast radius) of changes.

• Strong testing, verification and documentation discipline.
• Ability to work independently and own outcomes rather than just assigned tickets.

Strongly Preferred

• Ecommerce or operations software experience.
• Shopify/Amazon API experience.
• Experience with payment/banking integrations.
• Experience with scheduled jobs, queues and background workers.
• Database migrations and production data backfills.
• WebSockets/real-time applications.
• Docker and cloud deployment experience.
• Experience with inventory, order management, shipping or financial systems.
