About the Role We're looking for a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain our e-commerce experience end to end. You'll craft fast, reliable backend services in Node.js, customize our Shopify storefront with Liquid, and build interactive interfaces and custom app UIs in React. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes how thousands of customers discover our products, learn about menstrual health, and complete their purchase.
You'll collaborate closely with our founders, growth/marketing team, and designers to turn ideas into performant, conversion-friendly features that support our mission. What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js (Express / NestJS or similar).
- Develop and customize our Shopify storefront using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build custom Shopify apps and internal tools with React (and Shopify Polaris where applicable).
- Integrate third-party services and APIs — payment gateways, logistics/shipping, subscriptions, WhatsApp/SMS, reviews, analytics, and the Shopify Admin, Storefront, and Webhook APIs.
- Optimize storefront performance, page speed, and Core Web Vitals to improve conversion and reduce drop-off.
- Improve the checkout and post-purchase experience, and support growth experiments and A/B tests.
- Implement responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible UI components.
- Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Debug production issues and continuously improve reliability, security, and scalability.
- Partner with marketing and product to ship landing pages, campaigns, and new product launches quickly.
Required Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in
Node.js and building RESTful (and/or GraphQL) APIs.
- Hands-on experience with

- Experience working with the Shopify ecosystem — Admin API, Storefront API, webhooks, and app development.
- Familiarity with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of responsive design, web performance, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
