About this role
Aulintri · Maventi Group · Full-time contract (40 hrs/wk guaranteed) · Remote, India ·
$1,650 USD/month + milestone bonus Ship production freight software against contracts that already exist Aulintri is an AI-native SaaS platform for international freight and U.S. customs compliance. We’re not a slide-deck startup — we’re a licensed NVOCC and customs brokerage that ships real cargo every day through Beyond Logix, and Aulintri is being built first to run our own operations, then scaled into a SaaS platform for the broader industry. We’re in a focused ~12-week build sprint taking a tested architecture to a live production launch — and we’re adding a mid-level engineer who wants meaningful ownership inside a codebase built the right way.
Why this is a great mid-level seat: the platform’s domain logic already exists as tested TypeScript engines behind documented interfaces (234 passing unit tests before the sprint even started). You won’t be guessing at requirements — you’ll own real feature surfaces end-to-end, implementing repositories, API endpoints, and React screens against defined contracts, with a senior engineer and the Head of Engineering reviewing your work and unblocking you daily. In a small pod (one senior, you, one junior) your work is visible, your ownership is real, and you’ll help set the example the junior learns from.
AI-first development: Claude Code is your primary coding accelerator here, and the platform itself runs Claude-powered document auto-fill — you’ll work with modern AI tooling daily without needing ML experience.
What you’ll build and own
- React/Next.js screens freight operators use all day: a guided multi-step booking flow, quote comparison, operational dashboards sorted by urgency, a licensed-broker review queue, notifications
- API endpoints and data repositories in TypeScript/NestJS against documented ports, on PostgreSQL
- Document generation and upload/review flows (commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists)
- Integration wiring: accounting sync, carrier tracking events, email/notification delivery
- Tests for everything you ship — it’s in the definition of done, not an afterthought
The stack Next.js + TypeScript + Tailwind · NestJS · PostgreSQL · Redis · Claude API + Claude Code · AWS.
You’re a fit if you have
- 3+ years of professional full-stack development with TypeScript/JavaScript in production
- Solid React (or Next.js) and REST API experience; comfort with SQL and relational schemas
- The discipline to work within defined contracts and coding standards — and the curiosity to ask why they’re shaped that way
- Enough self-direction to run a feature surface with review checkpoints, not hand-holding
- Reliable async communication: clear standup updates, honest blockers, questions asked early
- Bonus, not required: logistics/supply-chain exposure; form-heavy or data-dense UI work; multi-tenant SaaS
What you get
- Direct daily review from a senior engineer and a Head of Engineering who look at real work, not slides
- A compliance-grade engineering culture (RLS, permission gates, audit logs) that most engineers don’t see until much later in their careers
- Code that goes live fast — the platform launches this quarter, and your screens are in front of real freight operators
- A funded multi-phase roadmap beyond the sprint — strong performers extend into the next build phases
