Senior React Developer with Python Django exposure Key Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable web user interfaces using

React.js and TypeScript .

• Develop reusable, modular, and maintainable

React UI components aligned with a common design system.

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, architects, product owners, project managers, backend engineers, and QA teams.
• Translate wireframes, mockups, and design prototypes into high-quality production-ready code.
• Contribute to backend API development and integration using Python and Django framework.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs for seamless frontend-backend integration.
• Provide effort estimates, plan feature delivery, and meet committed timelines.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, responsiveness, and scalability across products, browsers, and devices.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards, security practices, and maintainability guidelines.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve UI, integration, and performance-related issues.
• Work effectively within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development with a strong focus on React.js.
• Strong proficiency in

JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 .

• Deep understanding of

React fundamentals including:

• Functional Components
• Hooks
• Component Lifecycle
• State Management
• Context API
• Strong experience with

Redux for application state management .

• Experience building

reusable React component libraries and scalable UI architectures.

• Experience with

React Router, Vite, and modern frontend build tooling .

• Experience working with

Material UI (MUI) and implementing/customizing design systems .

• Good working knowledge of

Python and Django framework for backend development and REST API implementation.

• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Understanding of secure coding practices including:
• Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) prevention
• Authentication and Authorization mechanisms (JWT/OAuth/OIDC)
• Secure API consumption and data handling
• Experience optimizing frontend performance through:
• Code Splitting and Lazy Loading
• Bundle Size Optimization
• Component Memoization and Rendering Optimization
• Browser Performance Profiling and Debugging
• Strong understanding of Git-based development workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Experience creating and maintaining custom UI component libraries/design systems.
• Familiarity with unit testing and frontend test automation using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
• Experience working on enterprise-scale web applications and multi-product platforms.
• Exposure to containerized development environments using Docker/Podman

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
