AI-Native Full-Stack Team Lead to lead engineering delivery and replace a senior team lead who has been with the company for 7 years. This is not a role where AI is simply an assistant—it is the operating model. We are looking for someone who uses coding agents by default, ships software faster through AI, and builds intelligent product experiences. You will lead a team of engineers while remaining hands-on across our

Next.js, React, Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and AWS stack. You'll co-own critical platform modules and help maintain near-100% uptime as we scale toward 100% YoY growth. What AI-Native Means You already:

• Use AI coding agents (Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) daily.
• Break business problems into agent-ready specifications.
• Use AI for testing, reviews, documentation, and refactoring.
• Own everything that ships, regardless of who—or what—generated the code. You'll also build AI into the product through:
• Semantic product search
• Recommendations
• RAG-powered support assistants
• Smart automation
• Production-grade LLM systems with guardrails, evaluations, observability, latency, and cost control. Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor a team of full-stack engineers.
• Own architecture and delivery across frontend, backend, AI, and AWS.
• Deliver secure, scalable, production-ready software.
• Improve CI/CD, deployment speed, and engineering productivity.
• Maintain reliability, monitoring, incident response, and uptime.
• Drive AI-native engineering practices across the team.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Leadership to deliver business outcomes. Required Technical Skills
• Frontend: Next.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind
• Backend: Node.js (Express/NestJS/Fastify), REST, GraphQL, JWT/OAuth
• Databases: MongoDB, Redis
• Cloud: AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, Route53, ELB, SQS/SNS)
• AI/ML: LLM integration, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, prompt engineering, evals, guardrails (Python is a plus) Engineering Practices Experience with:
• Git and modern branching strategies
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline)
• Docker (Kubernetes/Terraform preferred)
• Testing (Jest, Cypress, Playwright)
• Performance optimization and Core Web Vitals
• Secure coding (OWASP, secrets management)
• Monitoring (CloudWatch, Grafana, Datadog, Sentry)
• High-scale architecture, caching, fault tolerance, disaster recovery
• Agile/Scrum delivery What We're Looking For Must Have
• 6+ years building production software with team leadership experience.
• Strong expertise in Next.js, React, Node.js, MongoDB, Redis, and AWS.
• Daily use of AI coding agents with demonstrable productivity gains.
• Experience integrating LLMs or ML into production applications.
• Strong system design, architecture, communication, and ownership.
• Ability to balance speed with quality.
• Immediate availability preferred. Nice to Have
• E-commerce or marketplace experience.
• Python, MLOps, or data engineering exposure.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code.
• Production AI deployments with evaluations and guardrails.
