Full Stack Engineer

About the role We're looking for a

strong full-stack Engineer who takes real ownership — someone who can take a feature from a Figma screen all the way to a deployed, production-ready API and UI on a

Next.js + TypeScript front end backed by a

Node.js / Express + MongoDB API, with real-time features, background jobs, and payments. We're not after someone who just closes tickets — we want a builder who thinks about edge cases, performance, and the user, writes clean code others can build on, and moves fast without leaving a mess behind. Whether you're fresh out of standout projects or have a couple of years under your belt, what matters is the quality of what you ship and how quickly you grow.

What you'll do

• Build features

end to end — UI in

Next.js / React / TypeScript , APIs in

Node.js / Express , and data models in

MongoDB / Mongoose .

• Design and consume

REST APIs , handling auth, validation, pagination, and error states properly.

• Build polished, responsive UI with

Tailwind CSS + shadcn/Radix ,

React Hook Form + Zod , and clean state management (

Redux Toolkit / TanStack Query ).

• Work with

real-time features (Socket.io),

caching/queues (Redis), and

background/scheduled jobs .

• Integrate third-party services —

payments (Razorpay), email (AWS SES), notifications, file storage .

• Write

tests (Jest / Vitest + Testing Library) and care that your code holds up in production.

• Own features in production — debug across the stack, watch logs and errors, and keep performance and quality high.
• Think through trade-offs, push back when something doesn't make sense, and help raise the bar on code quality.
• Collaborate with design, product, and other engineers — and ship regularly.

What we're looking for

• 0–2 years building web apps (internships, standout personal/production projects, or freelance all count) — and a genuine

drive to build and ship .

• Strong programming fundamentals — data structures, problem-solving, and the ability to reason about why your code works, not just that it does.
• Strong

JavaScript / TypeScript — TypeScript is our default; you're comfortable with types, interfaces, and generics, not fighting them.

• Solid with

React (ideally

Next.js ) — components, hooks, state, and an eye for clean, reusable UI.

• Can build real backend APIs with

Node.js / Express — routing, middleware, auth, and sensible structure.

• Comfortable modeling and querying data —

MongoDB/Mongoose ideally (SQL fine), with awareness of indexes and performance.

• Solid grasp of

REST API design ,

authentication (JWT/sessions) , async patterns, and handling failure gracefully.

• Strong

Git workflow and a habit of writing clean, readable, well-structured code.

• Able to take a feature from

concept to deployment on your own — and care that it actually holds up.
