Full Stack Engineer

About EdisonOS EdisonOS is a B2B SaaS platform built for training academies, schools, and tutoring businesses preparing students for standardized exams (SAT, ACT, AP, SHSAT, ISEE). We serve clients across the US, India, and Asia, from independent tutors to large school networks. The platform covers content delivery, assessments, student analytics, and third-party integrations. It’s a serious product with real users and real engineering challenges. The Role Full-time, on-site in Coimbatore. You’ll work across the entire stack, building and shipping features end-to-end on a platform that serves students and educators daily. We’re a small team that moves fast. You’ll get context on what needs to be built and why. We trust our developers to figure out the how, make good technical calls, and ship with confidence. You’ll have real ownership over what you build, from design decisions all the way to production. What You’ll Do • Build and maintain features across our NextJS frontend and FastAPI backend • Work with PostgreSQL: write efficient queries, handle schema changes, work with JSONB structures • Integrate with third-party platforms (SSO providers, external APIs, data feeds) • Debug and resolve production issues on your own • Make architectural calls at the feature level: data modelling, API design, UI state management • Write clean, readable code that your teammates can build on What We’re Looking For • 1-2+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping web applications • Strong working knowledge of NextJS (App Router, server components, API routes) and React • Backend proficiency with FastAPI or equivalent Python web frameworks • Comfortable with PostgreSQL: writing queries, thinking about indexing, working with relational data • Familiarity with Shadcn/UI, Tailwind CSS, and component-driven frontend development • Experience with Git, CI/CD basics, and deploying to production environments • Someone who has dealt with real production issues and knows how to work through them The Kind of Person Who Does Well Here • You take ownership.
